Hi! I’m Erica Lefler, owner of Orchard Cleaning Services since 2012. My passion for clean and chemical-free living emerged from necessity. After having children, I initially used common household cleaners to maintain a clean home. However, my young children began to experience adverse effects from the constant exposure to harsh chemicals.
In search of safer alternatives, I rebuilt my cleaning routine around eco-friendly, non-toxic products, and I saw a remarkable improvement in my children’s health. What’s included in a house cleaning from Orchard Cleaning Services?
Every General Maintenance Clean includes floors vacuumed and/or mopped, furniture, fixtures and baseboards dusted, countertops and backsplashes washed, sinks scrubbed and disinfected, tubs, showers and tile scrubbed, bathroom counters and fixtures sanitized, beds made with one set of sheets changed, and wastebaskets emptied and relined. The Top to Bottom Clean adds hand-washing of baseboards, cabinet fronts, doors, moldings and light fixtures.

What cleaning products do you use?
We use only eco-friendly, non-toxic professional cleaning products that are free of harsh chemicals. They’re safe for your family, pets, and homes with chemical sensitivities. Our founder built the company around these products after her own children reacted to traditional cleaning chemicals. Pets are welcome to stay home while we clean.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
If anything isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back and re-clean it — free, no questions. That promise comes with every clean, whether it’s a one-time Top to Bottom Clean or a recurring visit. Just call (231) 943-1489 and our office will schedule the re-clean for you.
How do I book a cleaning or get a quote?
Call us at (231) 943-1489, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, or send a request through our online quote form. We don’t offer instant online booking or automated quotes — we call every client personally to learn about your home, confirm an exact price, and pick a day and time that works for you. We’ll call you within 1 business day of your request.
Do you offer recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning?
Yes. Our General Maintenance Clean is available weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly (every 4 weeks), and many of our clients have been with us for years. There are no contracts — cancel anytime. Recurring cleans run $168–$296 per visit, depending on the size of your home. Most families start with a Top to Bottom Clean, then switch to recurring service.
What’s the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?
Deep cleaning — our Top to Bottom Clean — is a one-time reset where everything is hand-washed or wiped, with extra attention to build-up on baseboards, cabinet fronts, light switches, and tile. Regular cleaning — our General Maintenance Clean — is the recurring visit that keeps your home that way. We recommend starting with a Top to Bottom Clean, then moving to recurring service.
What types of cleaning services do you offer?
Orchard Cleaning Services offers four main services: Top to Bottom Clean (deep cleaning with detailed attention), General Maintenance Clean (recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), Rental Make-Ready Clean, and Commercial Clean (custom plans for businesses). We also handle move-in and move-out cleans. Every service uses the same eco-friendly, non-toxic products and trained Orchard employees.
Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes. Every cleaning technician is an Orchard employee, not a contractor, and goes through a thorough background check and drug test before joining the team. Our technicians are Perfect Maintenance Cleaning Certified and professionally trained by our certified trainers, and Orchard Cleaning Services is fully bonded and insured.
