AGREEMENT

Please read through these service guidelines before your first cleaning visit.

Clients of Orchard Cleaning Services signify agreement with our guidelines and procedures through their approval of our estimate and acceptance of our services.

**Please note that it is very important for our schedule to be route-optimized frequently. We reserve the right to change and adjust our cleaning technician’s schedules as needed.

Keep in mind, that we may need to occasionally send a different cleaning technician to your home due to scheduling conflicts, illness, route optimization, etc. REST ASSURED- our cleaning technicians are all trained the same way and each home has very specific details written in their account to keep each clean CONSISTENT.

Healthy Home Policy:

Our employees are required to stay home if they have shown signs of flu-like symptoms within 24 hours. Likewise, we request that you reschedule your cleaning
visit if anyone in your home is experiencing flu-like symptoms. If possible, please provide at least 24-hour notice.

Our Team:

Your home will be cleaned by our professionally-trained cleaning staff. All team members are background checked, drug tested, and insured by Orchard Cleaning Services.

Preparing for Your Cleaning Visit:

Leave the cleaning to us! Please don’t clean before we arrive, but it is helpful to put away dishes and pick up items from the floor and surfaces. Tidying your home will allow our team to be more efficient and detailed in their cleaning. It also protects your belongings from being misplaced or damaged during cleaning and vacuuming.

Pets:

We love them! Please secure any pet that may be nervous during our visit or a threat to our staff. Also, we do not clean up after sick pets or pet accidents. If we encounter a pet accident, it will be left in place and we will clean around it.

Supplies & Equipment:

Orchard Cleaning Services will provide the following:

  • Vacuums, Cleaning Products, Rags, Ladder (2-step only), Mops, Dusting Tools and Personal Protective Equipment.

CLIENT WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Trash Bags

Specialty Cleaning Products:

We are only professionally trained to use our cleaning products/tools. If there is a product/tool you require us to use, please know we are not responsible for any damage this product may cause. Note: we are an eco-friendly company and it is our cleaning techs’ discretion if they’d like to use a non-eco-friendly product.

Quality Control:

YOUR FEEDBACK is valued and ALWAYS WELCOME to ensure you are receiving excellent service. In addition to occasional in-home quality checks, you will
receive email surveys to rate your experience. If you are unsatisfied with the work we provided, please contact the office within 24 hrs of your service and we will return to fix the items you are unhappy with.

Schedule Changes & Communication:

If you have any schedule changes, questions, or comments – we want to hear from you! PLEASE GIVE AT LEAST 72 HOURS NOTICE FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES.

Re-Scheduling:

No additional charges if you reschedule within 7 days of your original visit.

Paused Service:

Service can be paused at any time. Additional cleaning fees and rate changes may apply when service is restarted.

Late Notice Fee:

There will be a $75 fee assessed if you skip or cancel a visit with less than 24-hour notice.

Skip Fee:

If you skip your clean, your next cleaning fee will be adjusted based on the number of weeks between your next clean. Example: Skip weekly clean, your next clean will be charged at a bi-weekly rate. Skip bi-weekly cleaning, your next clean will be charged at a monthly rate. Skip monthly clean, your next clean will be priced at cost and a half of your monthly fee.

One-Time Clean:

There will be a 50% charge of your cleaning fee if you cancel with less than 72-hour notice.

Turn-Away service:

If we arrive and the home is in hazardous condition (pet feces, infestations, mold, or anything biohazardous), the client will be charged a turn-away service fee of $250 and we will unfortunately not be able to clean the home. Photos will be taken and documented with the office.

Pricing:

Cleaning fees are subject to change with advanced notice. We do our best to accurately estimate your cleaning, but sometimes it takes more or less time to clean your home. We will notify you in advance if there are any price changes. Periodic price changes will take place as our rates are adjusted to keep up with costs.

Additional Services:

Please contact us at least 2 days in advance of your cleaning visit, if you would like to add services including sheet changes, refrigerator, additional spaces, organization etc. Additional fees may apply.

  • Inside of fridge: $68
  • Inside of oven: $68
  • Addt’l sheet change: $10/bed (1 sheet change included in each clean)

Home Entry & Lock Out Policy:

Before the first visit, the client will need to provide an entry method for our staff to enter the home. One of the following items should be communicated with the office prior to 1st cleaning.  KEY BOX, HIDE A KEY, CODE, UNLOCKED DOOR or I WILL LET THEM IN. We are a keyless company. A 50% charge of your cleaning fee for the day you need to skip will be assessed if we are unable to access your home or we are turned away at the door.

  • It is helpful to provide our team with a unique alarm code (even if that is not our form of entry) so that if for any reason, the alarm goes off while we are in your home, we are able to disarm your security system without disrupting your day.

Breakage or Damage:

It is our job to make your home sparkle! In order to do so, our staff is required to touch nearly everything in your home. We handle all items with care to avoid
damage, however sometimes accidents occur. If something is damaged by our team we will contact you to determine the best course of action.

**To reduce the likelihood of any damage, please remove unstable objects, delicate and valuable items. (We do not clean inside curio cabinets, china cabinets or clear wet bar shelves.) You can opt to have us skip an area completely if you do not wish to accept that risk. We cannot be responsible for damage to items that are faulty or not securely installed.

Payment & Gratuities:

Payment is due at the time of service. A credit card is required on file to book a cleaning and will be charged day of service. If your account is overdue, cleaning
services will be suspended until your account is paid in full. (Late fees may apply).

  • Gratuities are greatly appreciated but not required. You will receive an email after your clean with a secure link to tip your cleaning tech, or you can tip them directly.

Non-Compete Agreement:

We value and fully invest in our team to make sure they are consistently providing our clients with top level service. Members of our team are not allowed to engage in a work relationship directly with any of our clients during their employment at Orchard Cleaning Services and up to one year after. A $2,500 finder’s fee will be charged if a team member employed by Orchard Cleaning Services is hired for private work through a client. If you would like additional help, please contact our office.
