Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DAYS ARE WE CLOSED: We are closed all major Holidays; New Year’s Day, Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Fathers Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

REFERRALS: Refer your friend to us! Anyone who refers a client to us gets a $100 Visa gift card after their referral’s 2nd recurring clean.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO WE USE: We use only high quality non-toxic professional cleaning products; Young Living Thieves Cleaner and Speed Cleaning Products.

HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN IN BUSINESS: Orchard Cleaning Services opened in 2012.

WHAT AREAS DO WE SERVE: We provide services in Grand Traverse and Leelanau County.

DO WE USE EMPLOYEES OR CONTRACTORS: Each person working for us is an employee.

FRANCHISE OR LOCALLY OWNERS: We are locally owned.

HOW DO I KNOW I CAN TRUST MY CLEANING TECHNICIAN: Each of our employees are put through a thorough and rigid back ground check and drug test.

TYPES OF PAYMENTS: We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.

DOES THE CUSTOMER SIGN A CONTRACT: Our clients are asked to sign a non-compete form. This form explains the customer will not steal any of our employees for employment of cleaning their home.

WHEN ARE SERVICES PAID FOR: Payment is required at time of service.

PET POLICY: Your pet is welcome to stay in your home while we clean, although if we feel uncomfortable around your pet, we will kindly ask you to find alternate arrangements for it while we are cleaning. We are not responsible for any pet messes.

SKIP OR CANCEL SERVICES: If you are needing to skip your next scheduled clean or cancel cleaning services, we ask that you provide us with at least a 24 hr notice. Email or phone is best.

EXTRA TASKS: If you are interested in any extras not listed on our cleaning checklist, contact the office prior to your cleaning and we can try to accommodate any changes. You may be subject to a rate change for added items.

ARE TIPS ACCEPTED: Tips are not expected but always appreciated. You are welcome to leave cash or add to your reoccurring charge.

SHOULD OUR CUSTOMERS GET A SPRING CLEAN EVERY YEAR: It is recommended to get a spring clean every year but not required.

REMINDERS: Our scheduling system will remind each client the day before their service of the approximate arrival time.
